The draw has been released for the BDO Welsh Classic and Open which are set to take place this weekend.
Adam Smith-Neale, Tony O’Shea, Scott Mitchell, Andy Hamilton, Scott Waites, Martin Adams, Jim Williams and Dean Winstanley are among the big names involved in Wales.
Mike Warburton is the current Welsh Open Champion having defeated Andy Hamilton last year. In the Ladies it was Deta Hedman who defeated Anastasia Dobromyslova 5-2.
The Classic is a new addition to the schedule which will take place on the Friday in Prestatyn.
It is Category A/B meaning it still holds good points for those who enter.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
