Former World Championship participant Braulio Roncero has passed away it has been revealed by the PDC.

Roncero became the first Dutch representative at the World Championship back in 2000; before the influx of Dutch darting talent took to the PDC.
He was Spanish born but represented the Netherlands due to being based there; after losing to Dennis Priestley at the 2000 tournament he continued to play in the PDC until 2010.
As well as playing in the PDC in his career he played at the Lakeside Championship and World Masters.
Raymond van Barneveld was among the players to pay tribute to Roncero after they teamed together in a losing effort in the 1996 Europe Cup.
