Steve Lennon has had a brilliant debut season since switching over from the BDO after doing a few tournaments over there to win his tour card at Q-School in January.
The Irishman has got to multiple last 16's, a quarter final on the floor, reached 4 Euro Tour events and has been gaining extra experience on the Development Tour as well and after a win this weekend against Simon Stevenson, he spoke to Love the Darts magazine about the win and his year so far.
“I’m relieved to win,” Lennon told Love The Darts after the match. “It’s my fourth time on the
European Tour this year and it’s a relief (to win).”
“My original goal for the year was to qualify for the UK Open, the Players Championships, and a few Euro Tours,” Lennon said. “But it’s gone a lot better than expected. I didn’t think I’d be in the race for Ally Pally.”
