'I'm just happy to make it through' - RVB on Taylor win

Raymond van Barneveld made it through to the semi-finals today and will face the impressive Daryl Gurney who thrashed Peter Wright but RVB made it hard for himself only getting through in a last leg decider and the 5 times World Champion spoke mainly after the match about the crowd getting on his back and also complemented Phil but admitted it was just good to get through to the semi-finals.
“I can’t do things the easy way at the moment,” joked Van Barneveld after the match.
“It’s always nice to beat Phil, he is the greatest player of all time but I could have made that much simpler for myself,
“I struggled with the crowd who were on his side but that isn’t an excuse and I’m just happy to make it though to the semi -finals,” declared the Dutchman.
