John Henderson has caused yet another shock in the world of darts. He did so in September by defeating Michael van Gerwen on route to the semi-finals of the World Grand Prix and has done it again by knocking out the World Number 4 and one of the main favourites for the title come January,
Daryl Gurney.
He gained a measure of revenge off 'Superchin' as he was the man who defeated him on route to the final but it wasn't plain sailing for the Highlander who went 2-0 up to be pegged back to 2-2 before Hendo won the next two sets to win 4-2 and progress to the next round where he will play Rob Cross.
He averaged 96 with five 180's to his name and he will be in the 3rd round for the first time making his Christmas extra special.
