Martin Schindler part of winning team in Promi-Darts World Championship

Martin Schindler and his teammate vlogger Marcel Scorpion have won the second edition of the Promi-Darts World Championship. In Düsseldorf, a number of top darts and a number of German stars competed against each other in a pairs tournament.

The German pair were too strong in the final for Peter Wright and presenter Ruth Moschner. Schindler and Scorpion won in the semi-finals against Rob Cross and Fernanda Brandao.
Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld did not survive the group phase. Van Gerwen and former goalkeeper Tim Wiese were the best in the first edition last year.
This time they lost in the group of Cross / Brandao and Gary Anderson, who threw together with former Olympic champion Fabian Hambüchen. Van Barneveld and his partner H.P. Baxxter also did not finish with the best two in their group.
