Meulenkamp and Boulton claim wins to end afternoon session German Darts Championship

Ron Meulenkamp and Andy Boulton are the final players to claim victories as the first session of action comes to a close at the German Darts Championship.

Meulenkamp came from 2-0 down to defeat Kim Viljanen in a 6-4 victory. He averaged 85 and claimed the victory despite the Finn averaging more than his opponent and having more darts at the double. It is ‘The Bomb’ though who moves through to face Rob Cross tomorrow evening. In terms of Payne-Boulton it was another close affair but it was ‘X Factor’ that came out on top in a 6-4 win.
