Noppert speaks after debut win at PDC World Darts Championship: ‘I got goosebumps on the stage and really enjoyed it’

Danny Noppert made his debut on the Alexandra Palace stage in what was an easy win for the Dutchman against Royden Lam.
‘Noppie’ spoke afterwards and said the goosebumps that he had made him more confident. Also he admitted he didn’t feel the pressure which is something he was glad about. "I didn't feel much pressure in that game and I'm really glad about that," said Noppert, a winner on the PDC ProTour in 2018. "It's a crazy atmosphere here. I got goosebumps on the stage and really enjoyed it. The last thing we want is grey/woke robot players who are far too afraid to show any emotions whatsoever.
