Prior to the start of Players Championship 7, the PDC players paid attention to the death of darts legend Eric Bristow. 'The Crafty Cockney' died last Thursday after a heart attack.

In Barnsley most of the Tour Card holders are present to play at the two Pro Tour tournaments this weekend. This moment was seized for a tribute to Bristow. The players stood up and put their hands together for a minute to celebrate the Londoner's life. According to commentator Dan Dawson they even sang 'One Eric Bristow.
