The first day of action in Wigan is heading into the Last 32 stage with Jarred Cole seeing off Scott Waites to reach the next round and Mark McGeeney hitting another huge average.
Cole averaged 92 in what was a 5-2 victory over the recent Lakeside finalist as the youngster continued his progression towards a potential Tour Card at Q-School.
McGeeney hit a 107 average in what was a 5-0 win over the heavily fancied David Evans as he continued to show his floor prowess. Also through include Jamie Hughes, Scott Baker and Jim Williams out of the players who played at Lakeside recently.
