Starting off proceedings though is Cameron Menzies, the former BDO player who has shown some real promise will face Kevin Munch who famously knocked out Adrian Lewis at the World Championship a few months ago.
Mike De Decker will make his return to the
European Tour at the Dutch Darts Masters and will face the Bull, Terry Jenkins who is back after previously showing signs of retirement.
One of the host nation qualifiers follows that match with Jeffrey de Graaf facing off against Steve Beaton who reached the final in Maastricht last year and will be hoping to replicate that this weekend.
Tobias Mueller will face Stephen Bunting with the potential for a St Helens derby between Bunting and Smith but Mueller will be hoping to stop that happening.
In one of the potential games of the night, Josh Payne will face Jonny Clayton who will have his first Euro Tour tournament since winning his first title in Graz.
Ricky Evans will be hoping to get his first Euro Tour win of the season but will face a tough test in the current World Master, Krzysztof Ratajski.
In what will be a fast paced affair Jan Dekker will face the returning Adrian Lewis who sat out the last tournament with illness.
Finally last weeks' beaten finalist James Wade will face Cristo Reyes as he aims to continue his brilliant form.
