Seedings confirmed for this weekend's Players Championship double header

The next Players Championship weekend is coming up with a double header from the main venue of Pro Tour darts, the Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan. The seedings have been confirmed for this barring any late withdrawals with Chris Dobey tentatively the final seed.
Dobey being the final seed is dependent on Michael van Gerwen sticking to what he said on Sunday about going on holiday and skipping the next double header of Players Championship events.
Alan Norris is currently the final seed with him shifting up one himself due to Gary Anderson himself taking the weekend off. This would also mean that Peter Wright like he has for a few weekends this year will take his place as number one seed.
Michael Smith would be second and Rob Cross third as we will see whether there will be yet another first time winner, one from the past or someone like Smith and Cross claiming the titles and £10,000 in the process.
