Fallon Sherrock has added to her ever growing haul of titles for 2018 while Dave Parletti has had a welcome return to the winners circle with the latest event complete, the BDO Welsh Masters.
Sherrock saw off Casey Gallagher in the final who enjoyed a great run. Gallagher had a tough run of games starting off with Corrine Hammond (4-3), Felicia Blay (4-0), Deta Hedman (4-2) and Anastasia Dobromyslova (4-0) before losing out 5-1 in the final. Fallon on the other hand saw off Priscilla Steenbergen, Rhian O’Sullivan, Aileen De Graaf and finally Lorraine Winstanley, not having the easiest route either. Parletti in his win saw off Carl Dennel, Ross Lockwood, Jack Vincent, Mitch Butler, Scott Mitchell, Geriant Davies and finally Gary Robson in the final 6-3.

- Is this the start of an attempt to say that he (Littler) is the best ever as he has won most money. Perhaps adjust all prize money earned by allowing for inflation. If Littler gets close too (does not even have to overtake) both MVG’s and Taylor’s Major titles total then he is in the conversation. - It is shocking and unbelievable that 2 Hotty who was always such a decent player, 2 time World Champion and won the Grand Slam when it meant something. He really should have joined the PDC earlier. He has just disappeared off the radar. Such a shame when one of your favourite players just dissappears. I guess he is concentrating on the carpentry. I would like to see more players involved on a weekly basis similar to the Modus Super Series. A knockout tournament with 16 winners from each week.
