The latest European Tour event took place this past weekend in Sindelfingen with ramifications occuring due to it. This includes Michael Smith surpassing Peter Wright into second place in the Pro Tour Order of Merit.
This means that potentially from Euro Tour events 7 and 8, Smith will replace Wright as the Number 2 seed and this comes after a brilliant start to 2018 for the Bully Boy.
In addition, James Wade who has performed brilliantly and reached a second final of the year yesterday will be seeded 11th meaning he no longer needs to qualify for the events like he has done previously.
Also, Danny Noppert has had a rise up to 45th in only a few short months in the PDC. This is due to his run to the semi-finals yesterday in Sindelfingen. This represents in itself like Wade a brilliant start to 2018 and now he’s starting to see the benefits.
