Lee Turle hit a 9-darter yesterday to make it two for the weekend on the Challenge Tour. This was after one from Sweden’s Dennis Nilsson showing the strength and depth of the PDC’s other tours.
Despite hitting this, Turle still lost to Dave Prins who is a tricky opponent by 5 legs to 4. He will still have something to take away from it though and of course will pick up a pin at the PDC’s award dinner for hitting the perfect leg.
The Challenge Tour weekend itself produced a double win for Michael Barnard and first time wins for Adam Huckvale and Cody Harris with added brilliance from Turle and Nilsson.
