The German crowd will not be able to see Adrian Lewis and Mensur Suljovic during the European Darts Trophy. The pair has withdrawn for the last European Tour event of the season.
Both players pulled out due to 'personal reasons'. Either Lewis as Suljovic has withdrawn from an European Tour event earlier this season as well. 'Jackpot' missed the European Darts Grand Prix due to illness, while 'The Gentle' pulled out of the Dutch Darts Championship.
As a result of the withdrawals, Mervyn King and Stephen Bunting step up to become seeds, with a further two Host Nation Qualifier places on offer.
