Phil Taylor has made a successful trip to soft-tip darts. The 16-time world champion steel-tip reached the final of DartsLive Super Darts in Tokyo on Friday.
'The Power' started with a 3-1 victory over Alex Reyes, before Harith Lim also were beaten. In the semi-final Taylor Shuichi Enokuma easily with 3-0.
On the other side of the schedule Haruki Muramatsu and Paul Lim managed to reach the last four. The match was won by the Japanese 3-2. After an exciting final, Muramatsu took the victory. Taylor managed to win three games, but was not able to win the final game.
A soft-tip match consists of two parts. Twice a leg from 701 and two games of cricket. When a fifth game has to make the decision, throwing on the bull determines who can choose the last game and who can start.
