Toon Greebe wins BDO Polish Open in Police

Toon Greebe claimed his first BDO title of 2019 with victory at the BDO Polish Open which took place in Police this past Saturday. The Dutchman saw off Sebastian Steyer in the final.

Greebe has done excellently to come back after having to have his foot amputated in 2017 but since then has played multiple BDO events as well as Q-School and Challenge Tour.
Some well-known faces got to the latter stages in Poland with Leighton Bennett losing out to Greebe in the end. He had seen off number one seed and the in-form Mario Vandenbogaerde.
Also Martin Phillips and recent title winner in Estonia, John Scott got to the latter stages but it was the Dutchman who claimed the title in the end.
