Dimitri van den Bergh has retained the World Youth title after defeating Martin Schindler in Minehead.
Van den Bergh smashed his way to a 4-1 lead against ‘The Wall’ averaging over 111 up to that point.
Schindler clawed back another leg to 4-2 to give himself late hope. He grabbed a further leg but ended up losing to ‘The Dreammaker’ who on his own throw hit double ten for the win.
It is a second World Youth title in as many years for the Belgian who shows once again on the main stage how good he is.
PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship Final:
Martin Schindler (91.6) 3-6 (100.44) Dimitri Van den Bergh
