Van Gerwen edges out Anderson in thriller to set up final with Gurney in Minehead

Michael van Gerwen is on the verge of gaining another title in Minehead after the World Number One edged out Gary Anderson in a thriller.

Van Gerwen broke Anderson after he’d done the exact same to go within the finishing line and from there he hit a stunning 121 checkout to win.
This was after Anderson went 3-0 up only for Van Gerwen to roar back and from there they were tied until basically the end. They both averaged 103 and hit fifty percent on their doubles showing how even the match was.
There can only be one winner though and he will now face Daryl Gurney later on after the World Youth Final.
