John Part is one of the best players to grace a darting stage and is the 3 time World Champion who despite not reaching the World Championship for a couple of years due to a downturn of form has had some great moments in the tournament and on the Alexandra Palace stage.
This includes his 2008 triumph against unknown Kirk Shepherd in the final who the 'Darth Maple' also defeated to win his tour card back at Q-School last year in a repeat of that final nearly 10 years on and it shows how quickly it can all go wrong. One of the best moments in that tournament was John's brilliant walk on which ranks as one of the best in Darts.
