Darren Webster reached the top 16 of the Order of Merit for the first time yesterday and in doing so became the 48th person to reach that. 'The Demolition Man' has had a brilliant rise over the past few years capped off now with this accolade and will aim to go higher.
The Norwich native though will want to avoid the curse of the top 16 which shows that two-thirds of the players who have reached that spot are no longer there.
A further 15 players no longer hold a tour card as well so Webster will want to try and stay there for as long as possible or potentially go higher in the Order of Merit.
