Van Gerwen leads averages at European Darts Grand Prix in Sindelfingen

Wright was second and was beaten at the last moment by 'Mighty Mike' after previously hitting an average of 110.29. This was in the Last 32 and he hit a further effort in the Last 16 of 103.49.
Van Gerwen though filled most of the rest of the table with the 3rd, 4th and 8th best efforts all also coming from MVG. Also on the list was Dave Chisnall who pushed him to the limit. As well as Joe Cullen who once again reached the latter stages.
