Mark Webster has experienced some time in the darting doldrums barring a promising run to the Last 16 at the Austrian Darts Open and following that he has set his targets for the rest of the year.

For 'Webby' he said that in reality his aim is to keep his Tour Card now and if it doesn't happen he hopes he can continue his punditry duties which have seen him now work for Sky. "I've tried to take the pressure off now, because my aim is to keep my Tour Card this year," Webster told the Darts Show podcast. "Years ago it was 'I want to get in the Matchplay, the Grand Prix and the Grand Slam', but I've just got to try and keep my Tour Card. "If it doesn't happen it doesn't happen, then hopefully I can remain working with Sky. What will be will be in the next seven months of the year. "I think if I got in the Worlds and got to the second round I'd be safe, but I'll just see what I can do. That's all I can do now. I've put too much pressure on myself for years so I'm just going to try and relax for the remainder of the year." "I enjoy it," Webster added. "In a way I probably enjoy it a bit too much but it's good to be involved." "I'm still involved in the game; I was a fan of the sport before I played, so if I can be involved in some capacity it's good."
