Speaking at the Target Launch to Live Darts, the World Masters Champion said as well that it is an opportunity all ladies dart players should grasp especially considering it’s free. "It's a no-brainer," Winstanley told Live Darts. "It would be a dream come true.
"It's an opportunity every woman should grasp - it's free.
"Whether you can play or not, it's about showing support for ladies darts so you've just got to get yourself in there.
"It's going to be mega because it's an open draw so you don't know who you're going to draw along the line.
"Maybe we're all hoping for a bit of luck of the draw but it's (hopefully) going to be a long day and hats off to whoever gets through.
"I'm not a massive practicer if I'm honest, I find it a bit boring.
"I have to want to practice so when I do want to, I hit the board quite hard.
"I'm going to have to put some work in between now and then definitely."
