John Part is the latest player to join the lineup for the World Seniors Darts Championship which is set to take place in early 2022.
Part was one of the final invited players to be announced with 12 names now in the field. Two more are set to be announced with a further duo to come from the qualifier in November.
The legendary Canadian became the first non-European world champion in 1994 and after this BDO world title, nine years later in 2003 he also won the PDC World Championship after winning a legendary final where he beat Phil Taylor 7-6. In 2008 Part became PDC World Champion once again, giving Darth Maple a total of three world titles to his name.
In addition to Part, Phil Taylor, Martin Adams, Ted Hankey, Keith Deller, Bob Anderson, John Lowe, John Walton, Wayne Warren, Richie Burnett and Dennis Priestley are also set to participate in this tournament after having their inclusion confirmed.
The winner will claim £25,000 with a TV deal on the horizon for the inaugural event ran by MODUS and Snooker Legends.
