Ashton continues PDC Women's Series dominance as Order of Merit updated after 12 events

Lisa Ashton has continued her dominance and opened up a further gap after the third weekend of play in the PDC Women's Series.

'The Lancashire Rose' has sealed seven titles in twelve tournaments. She leads the Women's Series Order of Merit with £8,100.

Fallon Sherrock has sealed three titles this season and is second with 5800 pounds. The 'Queen of the Palace' has a big lead on numbers three and four, Lorraine Winstanley (3700 pounds) and Aileen de Graaf (3300 pounds).

The four ladies mentioned above will join Laura Turner, Rhian Griffiths, Katie Sheldon and Chloe O'Brien in July for the first edition of the Women's World Matchplay. It will be played and televised in Blackpool on 24 July.

Later in the season eight more Women's Series tournaments will be played. The numbers one and two of the final ranking receive an invitation to the PDC World Darts Championship.
