Nathan Aspinall bounced back in style from defeat to Dimitri van den Bergh in the
Premier League Darts by seeing off James Wade 7-4 to move onto four points in the table.
Aspinall spoke afterwards and was pleased to bounce back as well as being on target ahead of the end of the first block.
"I've set myself a target coming into it. Minimum 6 (points) out of 10. Be over the moon with 8 and happy with 7 so I'm on track. It was a big win after the disappointment of last night, I felt like I deserved a draw and I think it shows where my mindsets at. I'm playing well, I know I can beat anyone in this tournament," said Aspinall post match.
"This is so tight this Premier League, it could go down to leg difference. I think come Friday you'll get an indication of who's where."
Durrant struggles
He also touched once more on Durrant's struggles and hopes that he can start at least playing somewhere near his best.
"He's really struggling, he's trying his heart out. I don't think he's getting much stick on social media, he shouldn't get it. I hope he gets that first point on the board.
