Borland on drawing Van Barneveld at UK Open: "I don't think there's any easy draws"

William Borland had one of the standout draws for the 2022 UK Open with the nine-dart hero from the PDC World Darts Championship drawing the doyen of Dutch darts, Raymond van Barneveld.
Borland spoke to Oche ahead of the weekend and is looking forward to the task as well as looking to emulate his fellow Scot, Alan Soutar who dumped Barney out last year.
"I'm looking forward to the game obviously it's a really hard opponent but I've been practicing well and just wanting to get the win obviously and we will take it from there," said Borland to Oche.
"We'll both be really up for the game. I don't think there's any easy draws in the PDC, it's going to be a tough game for both of us and it's going to be down to who can hit the double first."
