BoyleSports make £10,000 donation to Parkinson’s UK after Full House initiative during World Grand Prix

Title sponsors for the World Grand Prix in BoyleSports brought back their Full House charity initiative and donated £10,000 in the process for Parkinson’s UK.

They pledged a donation of £500 for every match in which their “Full House” market was achieved during the World Grand Prix. This was where a player wins the game, hits the most 180s and achieves the highest finish.

£5,500 had been achieved by the time the final had taken place but BoyleSports doubled it, among that former total, Michael van Gerwen himself contributed £2,000 after adding £1,000 to his initial two Full House efforts.

Dave Clark, the former Sky Sports Darts presenter has always been the inspiration behind this charity drive and thanked the bookmaker for their continued support.

"Thank you so much to BoyleSports for this fantastic show of support for Parkinson's UK, a cause that is close to my heart,” he said as per the PDC.

"I've been living with Parkinson's for ten years now. It's a relentless and unpredictable condition, but I'm determined to stay positive and live the best possible life I can. There are around 145,000 people in the UK who like me, face the daily challenges that Parkinson's can throw at you - so finding new and better treatments just can't wait.

"Parkinson's UK is helping to make that a reality by funding pioneering research and the £10,000 raised during the BoyleSports World Grand Prix will help drive that forward."
