The Premier League Darts in Rotterdam is the next PDC event seemingly set to be cancelled in the coming weeks due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
A double header of action which is usually one of the highlights of the Premier League calendar is unlikely to take place on March 25-26; due to the Dutch government postponing any mass gatherings of 100 or more people until March 31.
This means that unless it gets played behind closed doors; it will have to get moved to a later date or some measures will have to be put into place; especially with the two events deciding the second half also known as 'Judgement Night'.
The latest cancellation comes after the
European Darts Grand Prix in Sindelfingen; as well as events in
Leverkusen and Munich have all been postponed; with a Players Championship double header put in place to fill the void.
Depending on how the situation continues with Coronavirus; further Premier League legs including in Berlin next month could be under threat.
