Burton whitewashes Van Trijp to seal PDC Challenge Tour Event Eight

Stephen Burton is the latest winner on the PDC Challenge Tour sealing Event Eight in Niedernhausen to begin Saturday afternoon.

It is a third Challenge Tour title for Burton and his first since 2019 when he sealed two in all. He joins Scott Williams and Stefan Bellmont who won on Friday.

Players can earn reserve spots for the Pro Tour 2022 and Tour Cards for 2023 and 2024 on the Challenge Tour. The highest ranked players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit are eligible for the reserve spots at the Players Championships.

The top two on the Challenge Tour ranking at the end of the season are offered a PDC Tour Card for the following two seasons. In addition, they are also allowed to participate in the PDC World Darts Championship.
