Callan Rydz sees off Luke Littler to reach semi-finals at Players Championship 3; Gary Anderson, Michael van Gerwen and Ryan Searle complete final four

Luke Littler hasn't advanced to the semifinals of the third Players Championship tournament in Leicester. The 17-year-old lost out to Callan Rydz in the quarter-finals.
Also through is Michael van Gerwen. After trailing 2-0 early on, Van Gerwen gained a 3-2 lead thanks to three consecutive legs won. However, 'Mighty Mike' seemed to give it away after all, as he was trailing 5-4 moments later. Lennon had a matchdart in the tenth leg, but missed the bullseye. Van Gerwen then equalized with a 14-darter, before taking the win with a 60 finish.
Ryan Searle put a stop to a Dutch encounter at the last four. Thanks to an average of 102.26, Searle was 6-4 too strong for Danny Noppert in the quarterfinals.
The other semifinal is between Gary Anderson and Rydz. Anderson beat Peter Wright 6-2, throwing a 100+ average of 102.59 for the fourth time in five matches.
