Campbell, Vandenbogaerde and Rodriguez brothers into PDC European Challenge Tour Event Five Quarter-Finals

Event Five action on the PDC European Challenge Tour is into the Quarter-Finals with many big names still involved in Niedernhausen.

Among them are two event winners this week in Matt Campbell and Rowby-John Rodriguez who could be on a collision course for the semi-finals.

Campbell faces Chris Landman, while Rodriguez has Maikel Verberk. In the other Quarter, Mario Vandenbogaerde takes on Jitse van der Wal while the other Rodriguez brother, Rusty-Jake takes on Lukas Wenig.

Due to travel restrictions still in place due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Challenge Tour has been split this year into a separate circuit for both British and European players.

The winners of both tours will be eligible to participate in the upcoming World Darts Championship and will receive a PDC Tour Card for 2022 and 2023.

The highest-ranking players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit qualify for the reserve spots at the Players Championship tournaments.
