Chris Dobey may be gearing up for his fifth appearance at the World Grand Prix. 'Hollywood' has proven on the Players Championship circuit this season that he should be reckoned with at the double-in double-out tournament.

He currently tops the Players Championship Order of Merit, after Dobey became the only player on the PDC Tour to win three floor tournaments already this season.
At the World Grand Prix, Dobey can also boast a good record. Only once at that event did he lose in the first round. Twice, Dobey was a quarterfinalist and once he reached the semifinals.
Dobey himself hopes to make his mark during this World Grand Prix. “I feel like I’ve been playing at a similar level for the last three to four years, and just not getting that luck," claimed Dobey.
“Sometimes you create your own luck and little things are going my way at the minute, and I’m playing well alongside that. Confidence is key, and it doesn’t bother me who is in front of us. I just play the game properly and get on with the job.
“If I can keep playing like this, I can put my name in the mix and hopefully get another major title to my name.”
