Clayton crushes Cross, set for all Welsh semi-final with Price at Nordic Darts Masters

The first semi-final is set at the Nordic Darts Masters with Jonny Clayton set to face Gerwyn Price after a crushing 10-4 win for 'The Ferret' over Rob Cross in the second Quarter-Final.

After struggling on the outer ring in his opener, it was back to Clinical Clayton as he produced 41.7% on his doubles alongside three 180's and a high checkout of 106 with his World Cup partner now awaiting.

This 106 came to start the tie and set the tone as Clayton went 2-1 up and sat 4-1 up at the interval with an average of 101.2 taking out 62 in the process.

Cross faltered on the outer ring and Clayton hit a 67 checkout to make it 5-2 and this continued to be a theme as he missed two darts at doubles allowing Clayton to sit well clear at the next interval 7-3.

Going one away at 10-4, he picked Cross' pocket again hitting double three to move through to tonight's final session in Copenhagen.
