Rob Cross claimed a brilliant 11-5 victory over Krzysztof Ratajski to stake his claim further for the World Matchplay crown and to move through to a first Quarter-Final at the Winter Gardens.
Cross spoke afterwards and admitted that it is not enough just to get to the last eight but it is amazing to get through.
He added also about Gary Anderson and Michael van Gerwen heading out that everyone believes they can win it now and that the players left are positive of their chances.
'I love this place, I've never done anything here I've never really played any good and to be honest with you, to get to the last eight is amazing but it's not enough,' said Cross to LiveDarts.
'I just want to go out there and produce, it's a great arena obviously and it's very special.'
'With Gary and Michael gone, obviously everyone believes they can win it now and it's positive.'
