Cross produces superb display to down Woodhouse, Razma into maiden European Tour Quarter-Final with Plaisier win

The second Quarter-Final at the European Darts Matchplay will see Rob Cross face Madars Razma after both plotted their way through to tonight's evening session in Trier.

Cross despite being a two-time reigning European Champion has still not won a European Tour and has reached three finals already this season with everytime the victor being the two standouts on the circuit in Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen.

Only 'Cool Hand Luke' remains in that regard who again he could only feasibly meet again in the final but he did his part seeing off Luke Woodhouse in a superb 6-3 win.

In doing so, he won the tie with a 10-dart leg, hit a 101.6 average and two 180's and he will return later to face Razma who is into a maiden Quarter-Final on the European Tour.

He defeated Wesley Plaisier to do so who has become part of a group of players who despite not having a Tour Card has been performing incredibly on the European Tour.

But he will not move into another Quarter-Final after Razma won through 6-4. A match full of holds of throw, Razma went one away as a result.

Plaisier was poor on his requisite throw and handed Razma the win as he was the first to buckle and could not hold.
