De Zwaan admits lack of confidence: "I have come to an age when I start to ask myself whether I am good enough"

Jeffrey de Zwaan has been lauded as one of the top talents in darts but 2020 has brought a year which has seen bad form and injuries for 'The Black Cobra'.

De Zwaan has admitted that he is suffering with a lack of confidence and that he wants to get back on track despite having potential doubts about his career path.

"This is a particularly bad year for the time being and unfortunately there were also few tournaments to reverse the negative spiral. I consider this a lost year and I mainly want to regain my good form in the remaining months of 2020 towards next year", said De Zwaan at RTL 7.

"I have come to an age when I start to ask myself whether I am good enough", De Zwaan continues. "Still, I think it's mainly a matter of confidence, once I can win some games again, that confidence must return."
