De Zwaan sets next steps after losing Tour Card: "Going back to Q-School again"

Jeffrey de Zwaan failed to qualify for the PDC World Darts Championship at the final qualifying tournament.

De Zwaan went out against Scott Waites in the last 48 of the qualifying tournament for Tour Card holders. The 26-year-old Dutchman has been at the World Championship for the past three years, but now misses out.

Because he failed to qualify for the World Championship, De Zwaan has now also lost his Tour Card (which he earned in 2015) with certainty.

"Well that’s was my career as a professional darts player. Unfortunately going to lose my Tour Card and professional status after I have been number 20 of the world. I want to thank everyone who supported me including my sponsors and family. Going back to Q-School again," said De Zwaan on social media.
