The next lot of games at the Players Championship Finals have been completed with Glen Durrant, Brendan Dolan, John Henderson and Max Hopp all through to the second round.
Durrant completed a 6-2 win over Scott Baker with a 94.5 average and 60 percent on the doubles. The former played well against his former BDO rival who was somewhat of an unknown quantity in a way due to him not showing any form of note as of late.
Barring a few glimmers, it lived up to the billing and Durrant ended up moving through with ease to the next round.
Also on the main stage, Hopp completed a 6-3 victory over Jelle Klaasen despite the latter hitting a 170 checkout.
Over on Stage Two, Brendan Dolan claimed a 6-1 rout over Ross Smith as he continued his form which he has shown yet again against 'Smudger' who himself Grand Slam aside has also shown it as of late.
It was a lot closer in the other game, Ryan Joyce missed three match darts in the deciding leg and as a result, John Henderson pounced to clinch a 6-5 victory and move through in what was a tough tie for 'The Highlander'.
