Glen Durrant is through to the Quarter-Finals of the PDC World Championship on debut after coming through the North East derby against Chris Dobey.

Durrant said that it was his desire to be the North East No.1 that dragged the match down and that he seems to be winning the battles when it matters most at the minute.
He also admitted that his emotions were mainly embroiled in that game and as a result, he can now look to be dangerous.
"I don't think either of us played our best darts, I don't want to sit here in front of the media with a 94 average getting to the Quarter-Finals of the PDC World Championship, I want to sit here with a big 110 average and say there's a statement but I seem to be winning those battles right now and Chris (Dobey) was the biggest battle of them all," said Durrant to LiveDarts during the post-match press conference.
"I was suffering because I want to be the North East No.1, I've probably been the North East No.1 for a couple of years but I totally get that Callan Rydz, Ryan Joyce and Chris Dobey are right behind me right now. It's a real hot bed of darts, I just want to be that trailblazer for Cleveland and Teesside darts."
"He's the person I want to play, he's the second best player in the World right now. Price would be the perfect game for me, he's amazing."
"My emotions were all in the Chris Dobey game. I think I can relax now and I think now I'm going to be dangerous."
