Fans demand money back politely from Cullen after defeat at Belgian Darts Open

For Joe Cullen, last weekend's Belgian Darts Open was not a success. He went down 6-3 in his opening match against Matt Campbell.

But the disappointment wasn't masked by fans asking for their money back after placing bets on him.

One wrote: “Hey Joe, horrible performance today, if you don’t like your job go find something that’ll make you happy. Lost my last 50€ on you thanks a lot mate.”

Another actually gave details on how to pay. “Could you please pay this? It’s 60 euros that I have lost from betting on you. This is a Dutch trusted way to pay someone. If you don’t trust it look up “Tikkie” it’s a Dutch company. Thank you.”

Cullen shared the message on his Instagram story, saying:

“The guy (Campbell) played the best he’s ever played on a stage but…

“At least they (the trolls) was polite!!”
