Field for 2021 European Championship confirmed

The field has been confirmed for the European Championship ahead of Salzburg next month on October 14-17.

Due to the truncated nature of the European Tour once more, many big names have missed out on being involved. They include Jonny Clayton, Dave Chisnall, Stephen Bunting, Ian White and Dirk van Duijvenbode.

This is due to a mixture of not qualifying and also not winning their first game in the tournament as a seed which is the fate which befitted the likes of Clayton and Van Duijvenbode.

But instead alongside the main names involved including defending champion Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen - there are multiple debutants involved.

They are Luke Humphries, Adam Gawlas, Joe Murnan, Florian Hempel, Keane Barry, Boris Krcmar, Damon Heta, William Borland, Lewy Williams, Ryan Searle, Adam Smith-Neale, Callan Rydz, Adam Hunt and Ritchie Edhouse.
