Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall missing as line-up for World Series tournaments in Australia and New Zealand confirmed

Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall are missing from the World Series tournaments in Australia and New Zealand in August. Van Gerwen was also absent from these World Series tournaments last year.

The field of participants for the Australian Darts Masters and New Zealand Darts Masters is led by Luke Humphries and Luke Littler. Michael Smith, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross, Peter Wright, Dimitri van den Bergh and Damon Heta will also be in action there on behalf of the PDC.

They will play one of the Oceanic players in the first round of the World Series tournaments. That includes at least Simon Whitlock and Haupai Puha. Brenton Lloyd and Rob Modra have also already qualified for the Australian Darts Masters, which takes place August 9-10 in Wollongong. A week later, the New Zealand Darts Masters will be played in Hamilton.
