Michael van Gerwen walked off disappointed on Thursday night after another quick defeat in
Premier League Darts.
After equal elimination in Rotterdam last week, the first match in Leeds was also the end of the road on Thursday.
The three-time world champion put in a very shaky performance, losing 6-3 to Peter Wright after also being thrashed by Josh Rock to nil in Graz last week on the European Tour.
It has not been the best few weeks for 'The Green Machine'.
"Another frustrating night for myself, but it is my own fault as I created more than enough chances," he said.
In doing so, Van Gerwen pointed to his finishing percentage of just 21 per cent (3/14).
"But when you miss that many darts at a double you can only blame yourself. Congratulations to Peter Wright, thank you for all your support Leeds."
