Gawlas continues brilliant form with Joyce win, Mansell and Lukeman also impress at European Darts Grand Prix

The first round of the European Darts Grand Prix continues with Adam Gawlas, Mickey Mansell and Martin Lukeman making it through to the second round in Stuttgart.

Gawlas reached the latter stages in Prague last week and continued his form to begin Day One seeing off Ryan Joyce in a superb display.

He prevailed 6-3 with a 100.3 average, four 180's and 60% on the doubles and is now set to face Ryan Searle tomorrow. While Mansell will take on Damon Heta after producing a superb display himself.

He breezed past Radek Szaganski 6-1 with a 96.3 average and a high checkout of 140 en route. While Lukeman showed his form with a 6-3 win over Stefan Bellmont and will now face Michael van Gerwen tomorrow. He averaged 97, hit two 180's and 60% on the doubles in the process.
