Dmitriy Gorbunov was in fine form fresh off his debut at the World Championship by claiming two out of the first three
EADC ProTour titles.
The season began this past weekend in Russia and Gorbunov claimed the opening two titles both with victories over Evgeniy Izotov in the final.
He got over the winning line 6-3 and 6-5 respectively to begin the weekend but he failed to make it a clean sweep.
Sunday's final was contested by Aleksey Kadochnikov and Roman Obukhov, who have been two leading players in recent years in the EADC.
The match was won with a 130 checkout by the former who landed a 12-dart leg as a result to claim it.
Further events will take place in Moscow on April 24-25 with Events, Four, Five and Six of the EADC ProTour season.
