Harms not set to be involved in PDC Home Tour: “The idea is of course very good, but then everyone must have the same equipment”

Wesley Harms is the next player to reveal that he will not be involved in the PDC Home Tour which began on Friday evening.

Speaking to NH Sport, Harms admitted its a good idea on the face of it but has its flaws: “The idea is of course very good, but then everyone must have the same equipment. If you look now, you can see that some images are blurred. I can say that I threw 180, but you don't see that on camera or you should automatically zoom in. ”

In addition, 'Sparky' is also not pleased with the prize money and admits he’d have to play multiple times to make it with it.

“If it's only five hundred pounds, I have to participate every weekend to get out of the costs. That doesn't work out, then I might as well start working. ”

The 35-year-old Dutchman has held a Tour Card since the beginning of this year, but as a result of the Coronavirus has many questions which remain at this time unanswered.

“That is the next step for the PDC. What will they do with people who have just obtained a Tour Card? Will it remain valid for another year or will they catch up on everything during the week at the end of the year? At the moment everything is moved. At some point, the weekends are gone. Maybe we will be in England for two to three weeks at a time. Then I better buy a house there. ”
