Hempel previews chances German players at Grand Slam: 'Schindler can give Price and Ratajski a good battle'

Florian Hempel has high expectations of his two German colleagues Gabriel Clemens and Martin Schindler at the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton.

"Martin is in incredible form at the moment, he will be able to give Gerwyn Price and Krzystof Ratajski a good battle in his group'', Hempel told Sport1. Furthermore, Northern Irish talent Nathan Rafferty is in Schindler's group.

Clemens takes on Peter Wright, Fallon Sherrock and Mike de Decker. ''He has shown what he is capable of in the floor tournaments lately, even though he didn't get past the first round in the last three or four TV tournaments. Even if he loses the first match, he has two more matches to revenge himself and perform on the stage'', said Hempel, who is working as an analyst for German Sport1 this weekend.
